I chose sculpture as my specialty because it can live in public spaces, where a wide audience can see and experience it. I’ve always believed that a three-dimensional piece has a stronger impact than, for example, a painting. Public art and sculpture feel more accessible than works kept inside galleries—they meet people where they are. For me, sculpture is a powerful way to communicate with others, and I believe it holds the potential to make society a little better through the messages it carries.
